Providence Health & Services Cardiac Ultrasound Sonographer (Echo Tech With Credential) in Torrance, California
Providence is calling a Cardiac Ultrasound Sonographer, Full Time, Day 10 Hour Shift to Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center in Torrance, CA.
In this position you will:
Under the direction of the medical director and cardiology manger, perform noninvasive echocardiograms and assists with transesophageal echocardiograms for use in the diagnosis cardiovascular disease.
Provide patient care to the following age groups; premature infants, pediatrics, adolescents , young, middle, and older adultsCommunicates effectively to staff and physicians.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Certification of completion of cardiac ultrasound sonographer course
Current Basic Life Support certification for HealthCare providers
Excellent organizational skills and time management
Ability to fluently speak, read, write, and understand the English Language
Current Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) credential
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Preferred two years of experience in an acute hospital setting, Cardiac Clinic, or physician office
