POSITION OVERVIEW: The Retail Specialist is responsible for all sell-out duties pertaining to their assigned stores, with a main responsibility of growing retail sales & going after Market Share gain. The RS is the liaison between the stores and Coty management; instrumental in implementing the strategies of the company.

Assisting the RM(s)/AM(s) in managing the specified territory and accounts.


  1. BEAUTY ADVISORS - Maximize the sale of Coty products by developing a highly skilled and motivated Fragrance & Beauty Advisor Team.
  • Establish monthly airport sales objectives and individual targets to be validated by Area Manager.

  • Follow-up and to correct deviations from targets

  • Analyze sales methods and support teams to improve techniques

  • Conduct quarterly personal BA reviews (Report to Area Manager)

  • Plan trainings with the collaboration of Coty Marketing Team

  • Train staff and Freelance Consultants on new products and Brand Strategies

  • Ensure team has the full updated info on the brands (merchandising, guidelines, marketing activities, minimum display quantities, visuals rights…)

  • Coordinate working schedule for each airport according to peak times, flights, promotions, vacations, absences and shop regulations

  • Hire or replace new members of the team: Job search, interviews, applications, ID passes approve expenses, etc…Liaise with the Area Manager for contracts and legal issues

  • Make sure that the Beauty Advisors give you a monthly “feedback report”

  • Ensure the most qualitative representation of the brands on the shop floor (clean shelves, furniture and products, uniform, logos, visuals…)

  1. POINT OF SALE - Continuous focus on working to improve Retail Space & Brand Image
  • Work on personalized merchandising plan per brand and per shop (based on sales report)

  • Ensure correct implementation of personalized merchandising plan, visuals, logos and POS material per client and per shop.

  • Ensure launches are done on time. Liaise with Miami Marketing Team.

  • Coordinate implementation of promotions:

Arrange and follow-up on decoration and furniture with contractor or retailers and assurance of stock, support material, hire and train staff (BA’s and Freelance staff) following set investment budgets

  • Analyze space and improve them via permanent call on shop and merchandising managers. Recommend major changes to the Area Manager.

  • Ensure testers, POSM, and GWP are in place

  • Follow-up on retail prices and analyze assortment, recommending changes on a permanent basis

  1. CLIENTS - To develop good and supportive relationships with the clients (HQ and shop floor)

In cooperation with Regional Manager / Area Manager:

  • Assist in presenting and submitting marketing plans and new products on time

  • Assist in booking promotions and taking orders

  • Recommend increased level of stock according to opportunities, merchandising changes or new product introductions

  • Motivate clients & shop managers making them feel part of the Coty Team

  1. REPORTING & ADMINISTRATION: To report and produce administration in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Weekly reports and minutes of each meeting to Regional Manager / Area Manager.

  • Sales report by month for each account/shop (vs. budget and vs. PY) with explanation of main deviations

  • Reporting results of promotions (with pictures and sales results) and new launches to Area Manager.

  • Direct communication with RM/AM & Marketing for: visuals, sales, stocks, POS, GWP’s, etc.



BA or higher

Minimum 3 years relevant work experience
