Related California seeks a Marketing Manager based in Los Angeles to play a critical role in the strategy, planning, and execution of marketing initiatives for its market-rate residential and mixed-use developments. The successful candidate should possess exceptional strategic and creative skills, including demonstrated innovation with past projects. S/he will be a strategic business partner and will work collaboratively with senior management of Related Companies, as it relates to marketing, leasing, sales, and public relations for Related’s high profile developments in California.
Central to this role will be developing a marketing plan for Related California’s growing luxury residential portfolio. This includes executing a marketing plan for residential sales and mixed-use properties.

Strategy and Planning
Develop marketing, messaging and public relations plans for Related CA and its properties.
Develop individual property campaigns to effectuate sales and leasing efforts.
Determine property budgets in tandem with development teams and management.
Conduct and present competitive market research and findings to direct strategy and planning.
Collaborate with executives to ensure marketing programs are furthering business needs.
Create brand “DNA” for each property leveraging unit mix, architecture and design, amenities, services and special features.
Identify, select and manage appropriate agencies to create unique marketing proposition for each property, brand names and messaging platforms, marketing materials and advertising campaigns.
Promote marketing programs to direct sales and leasing targets, monitor results, adapt for various cycles in leasing and sales programs and where otherwise warranted.
Provide tools for in house and third party brokers through established channels.
Select and maintain strong relationships with agencies to develop marketing collateral, print and on-line campaigns, property websites.
Work with leasing and sales teams on customer centers and model residences.
Track marketing budgets to ensure deliverables are on time and within budget.
Ensure consistent communication of corporate image, position and value proposition to all constituencies.
Develop corporate marketing campaign to support business goals, sales and leasing initiatives.Develop corporate marketing materials where appropriate and maintain company website.
Establish cross-branding partnerships that enhance value of marketing campaigns and provide distribution to partner customer lists.
Plan and oversee events including property launches, broker, focus groups and customer functions.
Minimum of 7 years relevant experience in real estate and/or marketing and brand strategy.
Understanding of needs of premier and emerging luxury brands.
Experience, knowledge and understanding of the San Francisco and Los Angeles real estate markets.
Experience creating and managing brands with solid understanding of branding principals.
Brand repositioning experience a plus.
Excellent written and verbal and communication skills.
Strong project management skills, results-driven, adaptable with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Experienced in managing or having worked at marketing and public relations agencies.
Excellent understanding of creative process and design execution.
Computer proficiency in a Windows environment, i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point.
Experience in website management and development.
Internet and social media savvy.
