The Boeing Company Entry Level Trade Control Specialist in El Segundo, California
Boeing Global Trade Controls organization has an exciting opportunity for an entry level (level 2) Trade Control Specialist. The individual will participate on program, team and compliance projects. They will support the team in generating and monitoring compliance documents that support USG regulations and requirements. Seeking individual with Global Mindset to enhance skills in State Department and Commerce regulations. This position is located in El Segundo, California.
*Primary job duties*: • Researches and gathers documents and other materials in support of strategic planning and risk management. • Participates on teams in support of audit and assessment activities through development of materials and plans. • Interacts with internal business partners on routine global trade control matters. • Performs preliminary global regulatory trade control interpretation, impact analysis and provides recommendations for the development of guidance. • Supports creation of training materials. • Provides input to the development and update of processes and procedures. • Compares, updates and/or drafts standard submission packages in support of regulatory compliance requirements.

*Typical Education/Experience*: Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
*Basic Qualifications (required)*: • At least one (1) year of experience participating on compliance assessment activities supporting global trade controls matters. • At least one (1) year of experience supporting the creation and presenting of training materials. • At least one (1) year of experience participating in strategic planning, research and risk management to support compliance requirements. • This position requires an active (or ability to obtain) U.S. Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
*Preferred Qualifications*: • At least one (1) year of experience demonstrating global perspective and in government regulations. • At least one (1) year of experience utilizing analytical skills to support compliance requirements. • At least one (1) year of experience interaction with business partners and customers. • At least one (1) year of experience in Global Trade Controls interpretation or analysis.
