Determine nature of loss by analyzing initial reports
Determine provided coverage, total damage, and document findings
Collaborate with the insured and their representing party
Develop file containing loss analysis
Recover any remaining items if any
Assist other offices where needed regarding specific claims
Handle mode claims Requirements
High School Diploma – BA Preferred
MUST HAVE a minimum of 2 years of experience in indemnity claims processing (claims representative)
10 years of experience in insurance claims
Ability to draft estimates
Familiarity with estimating software
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong analytical negotiating capabilities
Ability to exemplify problems-solving abilities
Excellent communication skills (written verbal)
Great customer service oriented skills
